You and @Zatara really think the Democratic Party of today is the same as the Southern wing of the Party that started the Civil War, etc? Do you also believe the GOP is the same party today as freed the slaves, was anti-Catholic, anti-tariff and pro-free trade?

Lyndon Johnson, a Dem POTUS from Texas, signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and recognized he ceded the South, politically, to the GOP for a generation. He was wrong, of course. It's been a few generations.

If you know your history TX. There’s definitely a veil of, a more progressive nature as right wing corporatists as they are but I’d be remiss not to mention what the Dems have got up to as a party.

I'm cool with party in-fighting and pointing out hypocrisy/inconsistency.

At the moment though, there's one over-arching issue and that is ridding The People's House of that orange stain.

And back on topic, I think Biden is by far the lesser of two evils. Although I'd also say that if the tangerine shitblimp was being challenged by Edwina Currie.
