We don't have the same in the UK.
Wish we did.
Our questions are asked and answered in the HOP.( houses of parliament )
Often pre-read by both parties. So its all worked out before.
Lasts about an hour once a week. ( Wednesday )
The lockdown means they don't even do that now.
She seems to be there on a daily basis which I admire because the questions are not preset
and yet she somehow provides most of the answers.
I’d love to know where in the U.K. you’re from, because it’s clearly nowhere near Liverpool (hardly a surprise
, or you’d know from my username that I’m local to there, and wouldn’t try to (inaccurately) educate me on the system in the UK.
Think Boris does fine peddling his own lies to be honest without a Press Sec to do it for him and provide yet another layer of insulation from scrutiny.
The PM having to directly fact the leader of the opposition once a week is infinitely more scrutiny than Trump is subjected to. Oh and for the record, the reason PMQs isn’t happening right now is nothing to do with the pandemic, it’s the usual summer recess.
Oh and KM doesn’t come CLOSE to providing “most of the answers”. She stands up there and lies, obfuscates and changes the subject on any question that isn’t “Please oh please, tell us, how is it that our Dear Leader is simultaneously SO handsome and intelligent?” from Fox or OAN.
So if “doing a great job” is turning up and lying through your teeth, when your job is supposed to be working WITH the press to accurately inform the public.... then yeah, she’s brilliant.
(with apologies to
@RAFUH. All done)
