With those wages its a risk still. Basically you are hoping you are going to get the lad who played great on loan at West Ham 18 months ago and not the Man utd player

You are exactly right. Apart from his brief spell at WHU his offerings have been pretty dismal.

2021/22

16 league appearances for Manchester United, scoring two goals with zero assists

2020/21

16 league appearances for West Ham United, scoring nine goals with five assists

2019/20

22 league appearances for Manchester United, scoring one goal with zero assists

2018/19

27 league appearances for Manchester United, scoring four goals with three assists

Rather Barkley back on loan than this chump

We need a bed sheet saying no to this asap
The beauty of this is that it’s universal.

We can reel it out loads.

He's complete garbo and would show that we've learnt nothing from past cock ups should we go near the bell.
He's at best a poor mans Dele Alli and we've already got the washed up version of that.

In fairness I thought he'd be a good signing with "slightly high" wages but if the lad is asking for £150k - £180k having been deemed not good enough for a top 6 club then he really is delusional. No value in a deal like that for any team, same thing to go away and get a 22 for £20m on £60k and then have something to sell 3 years in at the very least. Tarkowski had a bit of leverage because he knew wherever he'd go he'd be at a better side than Burnley and would be a starter for the likes of us but also would've been looked at as a good squad player for the bigger teams, Lingard is unquestionably gonna end up worse than at United so I don't understand how he can inflate his demands like that as his age.
Top six wages for bottom six players. Everton all over

Just saying because you said about playing consistently. And lingards wages arent that much higher than we have gave tarkowski
"have gave"?

I'm going to have to query your grasp of mathematics, mon amis. Lingard's widely been reported as asking for £150k+ per week (seen several mentions of £180k) and Tarkowski's deal has been reported to be less than £100k p/w. So when you say not that much higher, you actually mean "nearly double".

PS: apostrophes.

Also been claimed that hes getting £120k p/w to beat off "interest" from Newcastle and Aston Villa. So by that logic £60k p/w less than lingards reported highest wage (btw we shouldnt sign lingard or tarkowski)
