Macca you've read my mind there fancy him to break his duck today myself.

Just feel if one went in off his arse, another one would follow quite quickly and that would be a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.

Goals and assists are the only way he's going to get a permanent deal here and today just feels like an ideal day to be that match winner.

He's shown glimpses under Moyes and there is definitely something just bubbling underneath, desperate to get out. Some of his finishes for Frankfurt are top end striker finishes, it just seems he's really lost his way and trying hard to find it again.

He would have to do quite a bit more imo to justify us keeping him.

Sure he was curtailed by Dycheball but it's grasp the nettle time now.

Needs to be adding goals and contributing more, and make Moyes and Thelwell want to retain him.

At the moment I would say thanks but no thanks. It's up to him.

….really not sure about this view that he was ‘curtailed by Dyche’, indeed in his first games for us I can recall him missing 3 one-on-ones with only the keeper to beat. Indeed I think @bluestevon suggests he’s now playing a ‘hybrid’ wing back role.

I don't think I've ever known a player to be more due a goal than this lad right now.

It's coming

….i’d agree with that if he’s regularly on the end of things but from what I’m seeing he’s not. Doesn’t in the least look like he’s a goal ‘waiting to happen’ but let’s hope he breaks his duck today.

V his old Frankfurt coach today, never a better time as he should know Glasners system inside out

Good half, l looked one of the few sharp from the start, but after winning it really well and laying it off to Beto and doing a great run for the return of all things his first touch lets him down....
