Call a spade, not good enough. Zero goals, zaro assists this season, needs to produce fast
Yeah, completely this. The stats tell you all you need to know about him. There's no way the club can even consider making his move permanent with the complete lack of end product he's displayed this season. He's been unable to affect the game both from the start or when coming on as a sub aside from a few moments of good footwork. He works hard, but this is the bare minimum that should be expected of a footballer earning several million pounds per year. Definitely dangle the carrot in front of him so that he doesn't tail off badly, but thanks and goodbye at the end of the season.

He hasnt produced but he is playing WAY better than he was at first. Shows he is getting used to the league. Let’s remember that he hasnt been asked to produce anything in the final third until a few games ago. Hes job was to defend. Now he seems to be getting a feel for the league and has improved in general.

….it’s no longer Lindstrom or Harrison, it’s going to be both for a while. Remember, they are now playing for a permanent deal so this is likely to be as good as it gets and I certainly wouldn’t be giving either of them a contract in the summer.

Regardless, we need them both to do a job for us and help get us over the line.

I was thinking of something you said about him hitting the back post. VVD done a cracking header from a Harrison cross to deny Beto (just before their 2nd goal) and right behind him was Lindstrom powering in with a run.

I thought was a good sign last night.

….absolutely, it’s important to watch where players are on the periphery of moves breaking down and he certainly looked to hit the box at times. Good sign.

I know it's not why he's in the team, but off the ball he was excellent 1st half. He really helped nullify Gakpo with O'Brien and in turn Robertson just didn't want to get past the half way line.

That chance where he needed to take care of the cross was a real shame because the move was great. I wouldn't have brought him off when we did as I felt he had the bit between his teeth.

He's going to need to score 3-4 and assist 3-4 before the seasons out in order for us to consider signing him but at least there has been signs under Moyes that there is a player in there and he's trying to get out and find his feet again after an awful 15/16 months

I've been more impressed with him in the last few weeks than I have Harrison in 2 seasons. Is he good enough? Probably not but depending how much he would cost he wouldn't be the worst squad player for next season.

Guess it depends on how much upheaval Moyes wants, he may say sign him as he is a body who knows the club and saves worrying over an extra signing.

I think he has shown more under Moyes, particularly in terms of his determination and application as a runner for the team but he really needs to start contributing in terms of goals and assists rather than just the bit beforehand.

Not worth the permanent fee they were wanting but I wouldn't mind another loan if it makes sense in terms of other targets.

Did you basically post the same thing about two different players??

Think it was his ball that Doucoure had a great chance on the header from as well - the one he showed his 50p shaped head on.

The lack of assists right now isn't bothering me, since Moyes come in he's put 3-4 absolute great chances in that with even with average finishing should have him sat on a decent number of assists. He does need to start netting a few himself though as that's the part stat wise he can control.

His overall game though I do like, defensively especially he's a completely different player to the one dragged off at HT a few months back.

Is he worth 20m - in the game now then I think so, if we can renegotiate a lower fee even better or even say another loan with option. He's settling in now, he does the job asked even though it's not his typical game - could easily have sulked off. Like the lad and at worst he's a very useful squad player.

Do goals and assists matter if we are winning and picking up points and he is part of the team doing that?

I don't care who is doing the scoring as long a someone is.
