Would he have been worse than Doucoure has been, don't think so mate.
As for off the pace yeah he does, maybe that's the reason he needed to be playing early on - not sure how not playing or getting junk minutes is gonna see him getting up to speed.
Probably not helped either by being brought on as a winger, when he isn't one.
Meanwhile we have a winger in McNeil who Dyche plays as the no. 10
Maybe crippling the lads confidence wouldn't have been wise. Especially on the back of a horror season for him.
It's very obvious he isn't up the speed/needs time. He barely got a kick all last season and the Premier League is quicker again.
Spurs and even the 10 mins today - looks like he needs too long on the ball.
Think he'll start again in the cup.
