Jelavic must establish himself at Everton

Well that's where you're wrong, because all signs point to the opposite being true, not just this season but over the course of his Everton career. His best performances have always been in midfield.

I don't care about always, I care about now.

Right now he's slow and utterly, completely useless in possession.

He should be a benchwarmer. At best.

Neville in midfield and Hibbert at full back... its been torture for years. Thank God we've had Baines at LB.

Lets hope Rodwell doesn't become the next Redknapp, Owen or Saha. Otherwise we'll probably be stuck with neville in the midfield till he's in his 50s

I'd disagree with this that moylez will tamper with his defencive work- he already works very hard off the ball and works the back line as it is, he can't do much more than he does and while he's doing that he's still slotting. He seems a quality and natural finisher.
I'd love nothing more than him establishing himself as our premium striker but you just need to look at all the strikers Moyes has brought in for a decent fee and they all have an instant impact but are ruined later on.

James Beattie scored 11 goals I guess in his first season, AJ scored 13 goals and was considered extremely hard working but was told to play on the wings next term and hence his goals dried up. Yakubu scored 22 ****ing goals in his debut season and he was never given a fair chance to prove himself after returning from his injury. He left for B'burn and scored 16 goals.

Stats show that Moyes and strikers don't work out well and so I won't believe that Jelavic is gonna be our main man for the next few years cos Moyes will end up trying to make his defensive game better and his goals will dry up as well.

Just watched Jelavic's goals and noticed that her never congratulates the player who gave him the assist. He just wheels away and ignores them. The one at Sunderland is shocking where gueye tries to grab his arm after putting in a peach of a cross and Jelavic shrugs him off quite aggressively. Poor form.

Just putting it out there.

He was the same at Rangers, I guess he likes the lime light.

Guess he just loves scoring goals. The initial excitement like.
Absolutely fine by me.

Does it really matter how a player celebrates? I'm sure if his assisters had a problem with it, something would have been said by now, considering Jelavic has scored quite a few already.

Good it was him that slotted it. I'm sick of our too nice players. Greed and selfishness are terrible qualities in a person, they are essential in top strikers.

I think if two of our players tried to go through the same door they'd be there till next week insisting the other goes first.

Haha well yes I can understand he loves to score. Long may it continue. I guess it's nothing and he seems well liked in the dressing room.

i hope this year for timmy was just a mirage or a down here because he never had enough time to recover from injuries sustained during international play but, just in case it's a sign of things to come, we should really sign a attacking mid or somebody to help slip the incisive pass to Jelavic.
