For me, Everton's worst ever transfer.
Such a weird one. He was linked with the rs (although they signed keita, so not exactly a ringing endorsement) before we signed him.

What I've not worked out is whether his injuries have effectively ended his career or he has never been good enough. On paper, he was meant to have everything we needed from a centre mid.

Due to the media blackout on Russia, his performances (if any) went unnoticed last season, this time around, if he does have a good season, we might be able to sell him next summer

This is up there with the Bakayoko and Nyarko signings. Kroldrup gets a free pass as he wasn't played due to financial restrictions and ended up in Serie A team of the year the season after he left us. I want to feel bad for the boy but he's on massive money and drunk driving around.

Being better than a player who can't make the bench is hardly the benchmark?

He's not good enough. Comparing him with Gomes is totally irrelevant.
I may be wrong but I'm guessing he doesn't make the bench because he's keeping him injury free so he can dispose of him ASAP...

I can't comment on how good or bad gbamin is because he's hardly played
