There’s so many circumstances too where we should be encouraging him not dismissing his attitude. Career threatening injuries one after the other, whilst adapting to a brand new country/club. Put on top of that it’s been a global pandemic where he did his Achilles’ tendon, so it’s not exactly like that’s going to help him settle to new surroundings or be able to help him adapt whilst he’s been away, he’s not a robot and this isn’t Fifa. If he comes back fantastic, if not then these things happen and could have happened to any player.

People need to move on and just forget about this guy and let him does his thing. If it's this season or next season he will be back at some point and when he is it will be basically like a new signing. Interesting point about desire. I broke my leg the other week and I didn't want to break it.

I just stared at it for a week or so and kept shouted 'get better' (desire).

Now, interestingly, it didn't actually make a difference.
