Does seem a tad strange that we haven't heard/seen much of him considering he was due back around this time. Fanfare seems mainly focussed around Gomes at the moment.

Gomes is the PR teams dream at the minute. Everyone loves him so the focus will be on him for a while

I missed the first 3 months of the season through ill health so I know zilch about him and his abilities. What as he like in the few games he played?

Looked way off the pace at first but showed signs in his next game that he has definite quality.

The reality is even if he starts training in the next few weeks he won't be starting or coming off the bench till next month and then it will take him time to get up to speed. We may not see the best of him till the last part of the season or start of the next. For me it's why we need a loan in this area.

According to Ancelotti he's been doing individual sessions and is 'improving fast' but that we'll have to be careful with him due to the nature of the injury.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's out until next season and then gets a repeat injury in September. That's how we roll.
