Trickier to heal a muscle injury (especially a big muscle like the quad) than a bone fracture. Easier to reaggravate. I have no problem with Gbamin taking his time, IMO he pulled it by pushing too far before fully match fit.

I crunched the numbers after Dave was banging the drum on him being a long term injury risk.

Compared to similar players (position, age, top divisions in Europe) he has roughly the same amount of injuries but seems to get ones that keep him out for longer.
