On my phone so can't go into enormous detail, but I've called this FSG summer for some time on here (with the resident lurkers). Even with record breaking revenue, performance, sponsorships etc, their wage bill is so high that unless they sell a big player there isn't the money there to buy players. The money isn't there.

FSG have run a very tight ship, are very good business people and have translated it well to football in terms of recruitment. Their worry must be that sides start to whack a tax on players they try to buy now (in the same way they used to with us under Moyes).

Yes Dave, same here. Tall, athletic, doesn't look slow, nips in to get the ball, uses his height well and can pick a pass.

Lots to like on this highlights reel. Might give us a more dynamic feel in midfield with him and Gomes together.

Can only see players coming in to be like for like replacements to current players numbers wise.

So Gbamin for Gana. Zouma in still if possible and replacing Jagielka. Lemina is a weak link but if it's true he'd only come in if he were a replacement for an outgoing Schneiderlin and Delph is probably a replacement for an outgoing McCarthy.

25 senior players and the U23 lads under that. Only now we'd have 25 players who could all actually be picked unlike the likes of McCarthy or Besic.
