After a good start to preseason with the early signing of Naismith, things seem to be rapidly going downhill. Classic Everton, things always go wrong.

With everton it won't just be with teams ''dropping'' out, there will be another reason for it.

Any reason to poke at the club ehy? This little tournament has become a joke, the 2 good teams originally in it dropped out, whether that means they cant pay our fee or something, who knows. But it's pointless going there to play poor opposition.

People I feel for are the few fans that have flown.

Deffo nothing that was within the board's control. The right decision taken as it's a vast distance to travel to play such low-key opposition now that the big hitters have pulled out.

The fact that it was so late in the day is frustrating, but it's not our (the board's) fault whatsoever. The fans have lost out, but it was the right thing to do.

what were they thinking in the first place, dragging the team half way around the world to play some ****e tournament.there are plenty of tournaments around europe we could have played in, but the board chose to go to indonesia, probably something to do with the money they were offered.is it the boards fault the tournament went tits up? no. is it the boards fault for getting involved with people who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewey? yes.if an idiot comes up with an idea, other idiots will think it's a good idea too, and lets face it we are run by fcukin idiots.

The timeline of the annoucement given the latest info on player transfer challanges (beeing nice) is terrible PR for the club.

Although the Pienaar deal is apparently done I wont believe it until I see it and the cynic in me says this will directly affect it
