2025/26 Jarrad Branthwaite

He's class. But I'd say we've got about another 4 months of him before his last game here.

I'm a bit surprised he's still here tbh.

Sold in the summer for sure IMO.

At least we'd have got a bit longer out of him than that Judas Stones...who might come back knowing how this club operates.

Id agree if he hadn't been injured for most of the season mate, ill be surprised if hes not here another year, that said i believe his new deal contains a release clause, clubs will be aware.

I'm dubious of the extent of that injury. He played the other night like he'd been available for weeks. Never underestimate the way this manager schemes to put himsef in the light of a man who has little resources to play with. Ditto KDH and Rohl's returns from 'nowhere'.

IMO Branthwaite's been handed a very long period of rest to establish his fitness and the club wont want to jeapordise a sale in the summer. Branthwaite's sale will represent the bulk of our transfer warchest this summer.

Why Judas Stones?

Who do we play then? I know O'Brien will likely still be here but for me we should look to the future, get shut of Tarks and/or Keane Won't happen though while Moyes is our manager.

I do fear you are right.

Haha why Judas McCarthy?

From memory wasn't Stones being booed and geered by Everton fans for essentially having a bit of swagger?

The only judas I can think of is once a blue always a blue.

He is Scottish, his parents are Scottish. He lived in Scotland, educated and thought football in Scotland and stabbed them in the back to play for Ireland as he likes Lucky Charms for breakfast.

Ofc
As soon as he's back, shows glimpses of what he brings to the team, gives people a bit of positivity for the run in, out you come with your grimy crystal ball 😆

He's a cheat code. Watch our performances skyrocket when he's back fit and starting every game.

Instantly ten yards higher up the pitch. Every player within a position of him suddenly looks calm and composed

Completely agree. Though this is offset by the inclusion of Keane and the fact Branthwaite is probably at left back

When it's Jarrad + Tarks/O'Brien in the middle we really will look so much better
