He’ll throw him on centre back and move Keane up front for when the Barry for Beto sub falls on its arse again.Right back?

Earning a Jersey back is nonsense, he's our best defender.I sincerely hope not.
Has to earn his jersey back to in my opinion.

Should be slowly reintroduced to manage his fitness though.
If Tarkowski had been outstanding this season I might agree, but he's been patchy. I think it would be fair enough to just get on with playing Branthwaite and O'Brien and see if they can start to develop a partnership, considering they will be the pairing long term. Not how teams work in my expierence mate.
Might be short order because he’s quality, but bad management of him and p,Ayers who covered fir him.
I'd be amazed if Tarkowski gets dropped. I'd guess it will be one of Branthwaite, Keane or O'Brien alongside him.If Tarkowski had been outstanding this season I might agree, but he's been patchy. As I said though priority needs to be keeping Branthwaite fit ultimately. We've fortunately got the depth in that position to manage his fitness as much as we need to.

I do agree that the squad needs to be kept competitive, just personally think a few players (Branthwaite, KDH, Ndiaye, Garner) are a cut above the rest of the squad and realistically should always be starting if they're fit. Iroegbunam, Alcaraz, Keane, Gana all should be fighting to earn their place back in the team. It’s a fair point mate JT hasn’t been great this year, actually think he’s come into a bit of form the last two - as I say it’s fair point - but realistically will happen - not in a million years,Mir will be him and another ….id think we’d all be surprised if it’s not.
Agreed he’s our highest quality defender….but also shouldn’t walk back into the team, no one should…they all need to get a shirt from the lad holding it…if he just walks straight back in…why give max effort if he knows he’s a shoe.
While Keane and JOB - why bother trying if Branthwaite just sails back in. You have to keep them motivated and all competitive with each other. We may need them again as we have needed them the last 24 games.

Also agree that Moyes won't bench Tarks, though I think he arguably should. Very harsh on O'Brien if he loses his place once Branthwaite is back.
They get paid handsomely to be motivated and Branthwaite is our only left footed centre back. His distribution long and short will be a massive plus for us even not taking into account his all round excellence. It’s a fair point mate JT hasn’t been great this year, actually think he’s come into a bit of form the last two - as I say it’s fair point - but realistically will happen - not in a million years,Mir will be him and another ….id think we’d all be surprised if it’s not.

I don't even know if this happens any more but if he's approaching full fitness in training surely he should play either in a behind closed doors friendly or one of the u23 games to get a bit of match sharpness back, before he gets on the field for us.
As long as O'Brien isn't shifted to right back, we're thankfully not absolutely desperate for JB to be immediately put back in the side.
Maybe he'll come on for us to see out the game if we're lucky to get two up against Leeds on Monday.
