I'm hopeful they will dip into their pockets this window if they find a good deal and at 33 million Johnson would definitely improve the team and add some goals.

I want to eventually see Grealish or Ndiaye in the middle and KDH and Garner behind them. Either he or Dibling can go on the right or we could put him up top and see if he can cure our striking woes for a few months until the summer.

Would people be happy with that? I dont think we realistically have the funds to go purchase a great striker so I would be surprised to see them do anything but a loan.

Hes got about 20 goals in 50 odd games as a centre forward.

I'd actually have him with Barry as a centre forward option. Said this last week i think.



Johnson is rapid and can finish + lay the ball off.

What he doesnt have are the skills outside the box other than pace. You need to get him in the box coming from a wider start at pace OR have him as a fox in the box using his acceleration and finishing ability.

As a winger id say no. As a centre forward for £35mil if we could sell Beto for £20mil then its worth considering.

Again though...a stretch.

Considering as a club, we're half way through the season and have scored 18 in total.

I watched a lot of him at Forest and rate him. Never hides, and a big game player too.

If he replicates what he's done at Spurs, then he'd be a big player for us.

I mean, the fella was their top goalscorer and got the goal that won them the Europa League.

He's 24, and what can £33m get Everton nowadays?
