January Transfer Window 2026

If you get a ridiculous offer for a player in demand from a desperate club then the timing is right at any time as long as you're not selling your PL status away.

We should be going into this window with 1-3 targets set up at FBs and CF in the event we get such a stupid bid for Ndiaye.
It's highly unlikely you can get the replacements you want in a January window so the timing would be wrong. I've no issue selling in the summer if a very high offer comes in but strongly disagree late in January after Ndiaye comes back from AFCON.

It's not a position I see Arsenal strengthening any way. They have Martinelli already who can't get a game.

Arsenal looking to bring in players in January according to Arteta. Ndiaye linked before with them.

As good as he is, if Everton could get a desperate price off Arsenal we should think about taking it before his value drops.

It'd allow us to bring Dibling through and get a RB and CF in.

Obviously a big a decision if it comes to it.

Arteta needs to check into rehab mate he has a problem.

Summer/January - this club is NEVER prepared.

It is if you have already written off the season.
Players in demand go for higher prices in January
Same applies for players we would want as replacements. They would cost so much more in January and other clubs would know wr have money.

It's the same logic I hear all the time from people who say they could sell their house for far more than they bought it for. They fail to remember they would then have to pay so much more for their new house as well and it might not even be as good.

I dont think those Arsenal players who could be on course fr a CL and/or PL success would like to be makeweights for Ndiaye.

No, but if they offered £80M and we had players lined up it'd make sense. But then its down to whether you trust a club who's CEO tells the manager that 1 out 3 sigings will be successful to make the right signings.
Do not sell your best player and give Moyes £80m - are you feeling okay?

They're stacked with wingers Dave, they just bought eze , you're entire post is just absurd. Why would we sell our best player in Jan and why do you anticipate his price dropping? I seriously have a migraine from reading this

With Bournemouth, I wanted Truffert in at LB last January and he was linked under Thelwell. Think he cost them under £15mil.

He's now 24 but theyre an interesting one as they went with 3 young defenders last season in Zabarnyi (another i mentioned) Huijsen and Kerkez. PSG, Madrid & RS now.

Milosaveljavic is playing CB for them and hes only 18. Very interesting recruitment and polar opposite to ours.

Brentford have Kayode who I also wanted last January.

Today i'd expect Truffert and Kayode to cost the best part of £60mil.

Not saying im a wonderful scout as some think i believe, just that these were quite obvious signings we needed.

The Welsh youtuber who comes up with tactics (cant remember his name) picked out Givairo Read from Feyenoord. I'd consider him as one of 2 RB signings.

Moyes now has hand picked people to join the management.

He's the decision maker with Kinnear only signing off on deals once Hammond negotiates the terms.

Eyes are on Moyes.
Always rated Truffert. Gutted we didn't go for him, exactly what we needed at an affordable price. Never understood the hype over Zabaryni though. I think we were linked with Milosaveljavic too at some point...

This is Everton. We’d get half that money to spend in the Summer.
Moyes won’t get a replacement in January. If he can cope while Ndaiye is at AFCON, he won’t miss him the rest of the year.

Saka is an injury waiting to happen and Trossard should be playing a more central role ready to snap up a chance that pops out.

Ndiaye has proven he can effectively play on both flanks.

It's a no brainer for Arsenal.

Why are you trying to advocate recruitment of our best player for Arsenal? It's not happening Dave sorry to disappoint you, is Arsenal your second team or something? Seem to be really focused on their squad developments
