January Transfer Window 2026

Well all four of our current full backs didn’t have any PL experience when we bought them so…..

This forum can’t make its mind up whether it wants us to target players who are proven to be PL ready or not.
Don't care, just a couple of decent FB's, plenty out there. We found Digne, must be a few more diamonds floating around.

We have a 37yr old (great servant)

A 12yr old (dont trust his birth certificate)

A crocked slob ( he got Davek'ed before kicking a ball )

Mykolenko ( give him his dues, he does what he can and puts the effort in, just lacks the attacking side to his game )

We will have had another 4 months since the window shut to scout, no excuses can be made after January..

If Evan Ferguson was fit it’s very likely Troy Parrott wouldn’t and maybe won’t get a look in for Ireland.

Yet the opinions on the two players are very contrasting on here.
there's no way on Gods green earth Ferguson gets picked ahead of Parrott for the playoffs.
I'm not sure who's better of if Everton should be in for either but Parrott will definitely start in March if he's fit.

Aghehowa is miles out of our reach, Franculino would need way more time to adapt than Barry has, and Castro wouldn't be close to plug and play either.

Now I think Barry should be ready to be the main striker by January, but I don't think the club shares that view, so I don't think they'll be buying another development prospect.

And so we shouldn't. We need an experienced striker on loan who can hold the ball up, and when a fairly easy chance presents itself, kick it into the goal.

Wesley at Roma who I have been banging on about for a yearish is being praised all across Italian media.

Made a great start for them, mainly at RB and also both left and right wing back.

A missed opportunity that Moyes pulled the plug on in January.

That Samu would probably be my dream striker signing (within the realms of unlikely possibility obviously, not including Mbappes and Haalands)

Sadly he would cost way too much and almost certainly would want CL football

He's one of the 1,000 players you have recommended we sign? You're absolutely wasted on here lad. Should be head of player recruitment somewhere.
