I like Strand Larsen but Jesus wept that's a lot of money.
Fit to play in March allegedly. If we were smart and building for the season after next, he would be my number one target.
Fair, that's probably an outdated assumption on my part. If we coughed up ~£40m for a young talent in Dibling, then an older striker who has yet to prove himself in terms of goals is probably more a £30m punt. Still, I wouldn't expect anyone to be paying anywhere near £50m in the Summer. They wouldn’t be selling him for £20m in the summer though.
Our scouts watched him at the U17 World Cup.
Agreed, was playing devils advocate tbh"Better than Dwight" isn't enough to warrant what he'd cost in wages though. It's all immaterial, like, as I think he wants to stay down south doesn't he?
Makes Barry look very smart nowI like Strand Larsen but Jesus wept that's a lot of money.
I think it will more on the lines of “ Do you prefer coffee or tea?”Joe Thomas will be getting his tough questions ready for Moyes at his press conference. Like why wasn’t Asnou brought on at wing back, why was Armstrong played out of position, what was the game plan in the first half. Why is the home form so bad, are you concerned with the fans constantly booing at home. Why do you keep starting McNeil.

They just saw what Palace were getting for Mateta and added a little January Desperation Tax.
Why would he, to not play for 2-3 years and get released? Hoffenheim actually usually play the players they buy.i imagined he would be going to united or liverpool or someone like that
They'd want that kind of money whenever they sell him, be it now or in July. When people say there is no value in Jan, this is exactly what they're talking about. I would have been up for us taking a ~£20m flyer at this lad in the Summer when they've gone down, but a team sells their main striker and is desperate to replace him and all of a sudden they're coughing up £50m??
Our fan base are desperate though, because we see that our forward isn’t scoring loads & so the easy (and incorrect) solution is buying another one … but the issue is that we don’t support our striker enough/have runners that break the lines and go beyond the forward enough/vary how we get the ball into him enough/put a good cross in often enough.Marteta - big roasting lump
Larsen - one goal all season
All absolute rubbish.
Yes it’s on confirmed by VAR !Penalty to Liverpool?

Yeah that is silly money, I thought they were talking around 35m.Not at 50mil
