Exactly my position on him. Up until a couple of years ago he was world class. When it was rumoured Chelsea were letting him go on loan, I really wanted us to chance our arm but then Arsenal swooped in and it looked like it'd be a great fit.
I don't know if time caught up to him at a coincidental point, or the move to Chelsea really has curtailed his career at the top level. Shame either way.

Means nothing. Been injured and when he's fit they've basically cut him out of the starting XI. Bit of succession planning from them/punishment after he basically asked to leave in the summer
Watch him, he's good. Is he worth £45m? Hard to say in today's market.
I reckon he'll be boss under Glasner (for 4 months). They create a lot of chances for their No.9s, what with the two tens playing through balls from the channels and the two wing backs providing crosses from out wide.
