If we are actually going after Wesley I assume it has to be a loan with option. Nothing about his time in Saudi has said buy, so they must be thinking a trial run to see if we can improve him.

I doubt there's anything in it personally but if there is i'd guess it's far more likely to just be his agent hawking him around and us deciding he looks alright in the conext of the deal being offered rather than us having extensively scouted him and having a proper plan for bringing him in.

honestly we need both. We do need a body on the wings now that Grealish is out, we can’t have McNeil anywhere near the starting XI.

But we do need fullbacks to address the dreadful imbalance in the team currently. I’m at a point where left back feels more pressing given how awful Mykolenko is (and if Moyes refuses to play aznou)

IF we play three at the back with Branthwaite's pace and poise, we need to be trying Aznou at left wing back...End of.
