No on Wilson here, his form this season has a lot to do with luck and isn't sustainable in the medium to long term.
Any winger we bring has to have pace and can transition quickly - that's what the squad needs.

He has better than 1 in 4 for a country like wales in 67
Games is that luck. Even 1 in 5 in premier league for a mid/bottom half side in 150 games is good going. Doubt you’d find Many with better goal stats than that

We beat Villa and kept a clean sheet. Buendia did nothing. I’d say he did a great job
I’m not saying he’s a first pick but we need variety as well as strength in depth. Also, we already have a possible right winger who doesn’t track back on our books.
We need to be clever as a club, they Wanted to sell McNeil last summer and he has a year left this summer. Sell him for 13/14mil gives us a 10 mil profit roughly and that wlll get us a 40mil starting winger and a fee transfer in Wilson on the bench. Keeping McNeil would be PointlessI’d have them both in a squad of 25.

Obviously just my opinion but way too much recency bias on Wilson and McNeil I think.
This is Wilson's first ever season in the prem with Fulham where he's started more than half the games he's played in. That's a squad player for a midtable side.
He's nearly 29 and is over performing his xG and xA this year by pretty much double. That's not a player who will maintain this level of form, he's on an insane finishing streak and also the players he's passed to have finished off difficult chances rather than him putting it on a plate. He's having the absolute season of his life very late in his career, that's all, he's not suddenly a different player. And he doesn't do anything else useful in build up or out of possession
I wouldn't hate it on a free in the summer if the wages are okay! You need experienced squad players knocking around. But that's all he is imo
