January Transfer Window 2026

City buying players like they are desperate for an attacker and a defender.

Meanwhile we've taken five years to find a right back, and still looking, and are in the process of replacing two duds with some Turkish delight no one had ever heard of until Everton went in.
City getting all there players in now ready for the transfer ban up coming in the summer
When they get the 115 charges ;)

City didn't win the league last season and unlikely to do so this season.

They've spent less than Arsenal and the RS in the last 3 years
Think they could catch Arsenal with additions of Guehi and Semenyo. If not they will win next season with so many players coming into their prime and Rodri at full fitness.

Isn't O'Brien currently our best right back? Moyes seems to think so since he keeps playing him there. So why is it depressing or lacking ambition if we are judging a potential signing by whether or not he is better than our current first choice?
Well, because I don't think he is our best RB, I think Patterson is. And that is a low bar. Having JOB at RB imbalances the whole side.

And for the record I think JOB is a good CB, just not a RB.

Pointless comment... he wasn't the Haaland he is today back then, also likely would have never reached the same level had he joined us, the path he took got him to where he is today.
Playing u18's, u21's and sitting on the bench wouldn't have developed him

Zero expectations from who ?
Plenty. Doesnt matter, it is just one man's opinion:) We all want Everton to do well I assume but when I hear " Barry needs time, JOB is the best RB we have, Moyes gets Everton" its really celebrating mediocrity at best...at least change the motto, its becoming embarrassing!...As I said...just my opinion.
