January Transfer Window 2026

Decent player, but he has an injury record on a par with DCL ( I know he`s fit now ).

It`d be a big gamble, as if he got injured again, we`d only have Barry as our fit striker, assuming Beto is off somewhere else.
Yeah, I get that, although recently I think Nuno just doesn't like him more than the fact he gets injuries. That said, he does tend to get them and maybe he's not in top condition (maybe why Nuno not bothered with him).

Why not go for him
On the 1st of January surely we’d have known he was available,
Smacks of the committee and Moyes not on the same
Page and the good old prem experience
He was always going to opt for Aston Villa over us he did a stint there on loan and they're in the title hunt , along playing in Europe with a prestigious Manager, seems like an easy choice

Not sure he will get plenty, will be coming into the later rounds of Europe now and fighting for top 4, probably Start in the fa cup and that’s it
He'll start in Europe too. As Nymzee said Emery has been rotating Watkins this season so Abraham will get plenty of game time. If he joined us he'd probably play most weeks but since we're out of the cups and just drifting in the league so it's a no brainer joining a club where his profile will be more noted in the media playing in higher profile matches

That’s was in the early rounds with easier games, later stages is a different ball game and Emery will go for his best 11 when available imo
