January Transfer Window 2026

At the meeting meant we are desperate for anyone.

Our squad is tiny, we have injuries, and a couple of the first team are heading of to AFCON.

Just desperate stuff. No options.

We need a striker too mate.

It`s what`s costing us points at the mo, not the fullbacks.
Respectfully disagree. Having 2 real full backs drags players wide and creates more space in the middle and more space for Ndiaye and Grealish.

We're extremely predictable on the ball and our front 3 can basically be marked out of games by decent opposition.

I see Antoneeee Robinson has managed to raise himself off his deathbed long enough to play a game for Fulham.
It must only be a matter of time before Davey stick an overpriced bid in for him, and Fulham bites out hand off

No we don’t, our full backs can do the job if we had a striker. I said it since pre-season that the strikers will cost us Europe, and they will.
If you think Myko and O'Brien would 'do the job' at fullback for any of the teams we're competing with for Europe, then idk what to say to you. They all have real fullbacks, that get forward, allow them to create better chances and score more goals despite many of these teams not actually having incredible strikers

Generally very average standard of strikers in the league this season, most have not been scoring loads and a lot of teams are getting goals from other areas. If you look at strikers who have scored a few this season (Igor Thiago, Welbeck, Richarlison) - put any of them in this team and I really honestly don't think we're suddenly scoring loads of goals.

The fullbacks are the biggest difference between us and the teams around us.

I still think he's good, don't get me wrong. I watched him when he was at Charlton, was a cut above everyone on the pitch that day (apart from a young Ben White, who looked excellent in a Leeds shirt).

But he's got qualities that endear him to the English fans and media. Bit like a Mason Mount - he puts himself about and covers a lot of ground - but when it comes down to it I don't think he has the technical ability or game intelligence to be a top top midfielder. I prefer CMs who can control a game. We as a nation don't tend to produce them, is all.

The way some sections of the commentariat refer to him would suggest he's a lot better than he is. Still good though and those qualities I think would make him good for us. Fans would love him
He hasn’t, you’re absolutely correct.

The guy is good in the same role KDH plays. It’s close to a like for like as we can get. It would be low risk, would cover a big problem and would have massive potential upside.

It’s certainly better than sitting with our thumbs up our arses and tumbling down the table.

Potter was using JWP in the wrong position as a ball recycler. He is best playing more advanced and leading a press.
James Ward Prowse??!!! Holy moly, what on earth are you talking about?!
