January Transfer Window 2026

….can you just bring him on to take free-kicks and then take him off again?
The point is, he would fill a big hole in the squad in the short-term. January isn’t the time to be making long-term signings, in general.

He isn’t the same player as KDH but can play the same role but in a different way. He would be very productive.

….sorry fella, i’d have real doubts about his energy, mobility and pace to play any part. He certainly wouldn’t ’fill a big hole’. I notice the clip you posted is from a few years ago.

Bit of a concern if we’ve been linked.

Slower, less goals, less tackles, less interceptions, less pressing, less effective?

He was on loan at Forest last season (where he had a falling out with Nuno) and then was recalled by Potter. For some reason Potter would play him as a defensive midfielder, but that’s not his game.

He could do a good job for us and add a bit of short-term depth. Given we are short of cover and he brings brilliant set piece taking and pressing ability would make him a potential bargain, in my opinion.

Hes a hard-working, honest pro. The situation he finds himself in at WHU is bizarre and we should take advantage.
He's not a fullback and he ain't a striker, a very low priority position considering the others..
