I’ve seen the slug play mate. In what context is he a “like for like” with Dewsbury Hall? They are not remotely alike.

He could go off injured in the same way but that’s about it mate.He can play the same role.
The point is, he would fill a big hole in the squad in the short-term. January isn’t the time to be making long-term signings, in general.….can you just bring him on to take free-kicks and then take him off again?![]()
Wouldn't that ruin our tactic of booting it straight into the first man almost every time though?….can you just bring him on to take free-kicks and then take him off again?![]()
In the same way that Niasse played the same role as Haaland, sure.He can play the same role.
Yeah but about 100% worse. He can play the same role.

He isn’t the same player as KDH but can play the same role but in a different way. He would be very productive.
Slower, less goals, less tackles, less interceptions, less pressing, less effective? The point is, he would fill a big hole in the squad in the short-term. January isn’t the time to be making long-term signings, in general.

He's not a fullback and he ain't a striker, a very low priority position considering the others..He was on loan at Forest last season (where he had a falling out with Nuno) and then was recalled by Potter. For some reason Potter would play him as a defensive midfielder, but that’s not his game.
He could do a good job for us and add a bit of short-term depth. Given we are short of cover and he brings brilliant set piece taking and pressing ability would make him a potential bargain, in my opinion.
Hes a hard-working, honest pro. The situation he finds himself in at WHU is bizarre and we should take advantage.
