It beggars belief that even with limited funds, our strongest striker link is with a tall heavy muscular bloke that has had two separate 6 week hamstring layoffs in recent seasons along with various mystery muscle issues.

He will fly through the medical despite being wheeled in on a bed on oxygen. Then just as he achieves the utopian position of “adjusted to the pace and physicality of the PL” we will no longer be in the PL and what’s left of him will be shipped off to Galatasaray on 3 separate flights.

Should have offered Cov a take it or leave it £2mill over their asking price for their striker before the window even opened, and before we became even less appealing. Whatever happens we’d probably have got our money back on him in the future.

We may even have got a few results before he arrived, Dom and Morepay might have pulled their finger out with the threat of incoming competition.
