I’m being facetious but you are right. Our wing backs are dreadful in a 5 3 2, our midfielders or widemen don’t create enough in a 4 3 3.

Also - just the general style of play, I can’t say I have any idea what the plan is to score goals…which ultimately is why we rarely score any.

On a short loan without any obligation maybe. But getting a big fee for him as well as getting his massive wage off the bill was a rare bit of good business for us given his declining performances, as borne out by the fact they have had to replace him 12 months later. Better he remain a drain on their wage bill than ours.

Digne defensively is average, but going forward would improve this Everton side ten fold.

Get a target man in, and ask him to play higher up the pitch and just have him put them in the box, like he was for DCL.

I'd take him back for 10/15M no questions..
