I don't know what that means.

I'm not saying Gray is an amazing creative player, he isn't, but as it stands he's created the best quality of opportunities in the side. Last season he also created our most chances. That's a problem, because he's not particularly someone who always gets his head up - which is I think the point you're making? - or makes the right decision.

Iwobi is our most creative player in terms of quantity this season but when it comes to his xA it's lower - basically from the chances he's created that have resulted in assists, players have overperformed in terms of their finishing. Calvert-Lewin v Palace is a good example of that.
I could be wrong but I’m sure up to his first injury last season Townsend was are best creator and then it was gray by according to you,
Townsend took the majority of set pieces until his injury, then gray after that. I’d like a bet McNeil would be top this season if he’d been on set pieces. I suppose it highlights how poor we’re from open play

I don't know that this particularly adds anything to the conversation, but I think the discrepancy there is that Iwobi's assists have come from through balls (where he's been pretty good this season) when there is still a lot to do to finish, whereas Gray's chances have come mostly from dead ball situations, because he's our best free kick taker, and those are easier to finish off. Gray is miles off the pace in terms of assisting others from open play because he does not get his head up, as you said. We lack creativity in a massive way. Honestly Coady, Tarkowski and Pickford have put in some of the most interesting forward passes this season. It's bleak.

We are an imperfect team.

People dont seem to get that, that often you can see Gray is a dangerous player, or that I would play Gordon without stating you think they are faultless.

We are a poor team. Gray has excellent ability to beat players, and has a good shot (if a bit erratic) and the rest of his game is poor. That makes him our biggest threat. For me, we have to get him playing as close to the opponents goal as possible.
Problem is most of his goals, well his last 4 in the league, 1 was a pen, 2 were from distance and the forest goal he ran onto a Pickford pass, can’t remember how far out he was when he slotted it? But obviously picked it up outside the box. The point is he doesn’t seem to score tap ins. Is that a game intelligent thing?

Not running off the back of forwards, Not following in shots , not getting to the back post. Unlike Gordon who has scored tap
Ins and recently missed one v wolves

I know YouTube's nothing to go off, but I wasn't particularly impressed by danjumas

Them 2 kids from the french league looked better

I guess he's played champions League tho
You should know our modus operandi by now mate, we love a player with prem league experience - ergo danjuma fits the (blue) bill (relegated with Bournemouth wasn’t he - might come in handy….)

Prob someone else come in and get him anyway, and anyone else were linked with the board and owner are playing the profit and sustainability card fully now - they should be ignoring ffp to get us out of the mess, every other club is.

We will prob only get elanga in on loan, if they get big Wout. Not sure that’s gonna be enough….

The problem for me is, if you take the Brighton winger who scored and assisted, he was clinical, made a quick decision, pass, come inside shot or get half a yard and fire the cross in. Gray runs down the line and then does more twists & Turns then torville & dean.

Then 4 things usually happen. 1) he goes to try and take the full back on the outside, usually players have doubled up now so he easily gets crowded out. 2) he has to go backwards to Myko or a CB. 3) he will try and cross but will hit a defender with so many bodies back or 4) come inside and tries a shot , again with players back in and around the box it gets blocked the majority of the time

Agree, in a front two
