I am worried that if we are looking at Elanga, then our striker for January is Ellis Simms. No offence to Simms, I'm pleased he's back and I'm hoping he gets a good chance, DCL had a worse scoring record than barn door during 2019 season, but enough game time got him to that next level. It will take time maybe a few years for Simms to reach a high standard, I'm scared we don't have that time to waste, we need results

We do need more productivity from wide areas, that's probably 2nd in terms of priority after a striker.

Find it mental elanga would be one of our first choices, doesn’t make sense to me, especially this early in the window. As a last resort fair enough, but we should be trying for better.
Wolves spending, forest and Southampton looking to spend, Leeds probably will too, while we loan a kid from utd. It’s not good enough, not when we have till June to balance the books.

100% which is why I’m hoping it’s just all media bollocks and we’ve got other targets.

Dunno about anyone else.. but I reckon the bigger need is for a creative attacker/right-sided forward.
