I guess, and this is proper clutching at straws territory, if Dyche wanted Ayew and Isco, they are the kind of signings Allardyce built his career on. Getting a tune out of them when they were washed up free transfers. Dyche is the heir apparent to the Allardyce model of coaching.

I once saw Isco score a hat-trick as a youth playing for his country. I know he's ended up at Real Madrid along the way but it's gone so, so wrong for him career wise. He would be quite fitting for us you could say.
