Yeah it's a good point about gray. I just don't know If dyche will fancy gray. He's very similar to cornet in that he's inconsistent. I think dyche used cornet sparingly towards the end of his tenure.

with Gray When he's on it he's great but when he's not the team will suffer particularly with how dyche likes to play and Dyche doesn't like passengers. May well see him as a threat off the bench.

I think he’s playing too well and offering too much of a threat currently to be dropped for McNeil.

I also think the back 4 you named, was so strong last time they played together that we can accommodate 2 wingers and we can specifically tell them to get in the box as much as possible to support the front 2.

I don’t expect the full backs to over lap, just hold the fort and leave the attackers to it.

Levy doesn't hate us. He doesn't care about us one iota more than any other irrelevant club to him. He's on the most shrewd and best operators in the business, he knows full well England's No1 wont want to play in the 2nd division and we couldn't afford not to sell him. I'm sure behind the scenes JPs agent and Levy have already reached out to discuss potential terms over a summer move.

They, the top two, are the problem, but as I said I can’t see Moshiri jettisoning Kenwrong, and the former will be here until he decides to sell.

In reality, which competent footballing person would come here now when it’s clear that the top two interfere and the system is shambolic? What could they do?

While Thelwell isn’t perfect, he’s a credible footballing person, and his position has been made nigh on impossible due to the state we are in.
