This is what Bobble has recently alluded to - agents are pushing their clients towards Everton because the club is such a basket case.

Naïve. They're operating under the conditions set by the board which has seen 7 permanent managers and 3 DOF's in 6 years.

No, if you're in a position where your boss's policies mean that you can't remotely do your job, then you resign, or at least kick up a public stink. You can't just sit there for long periods, taking huge amounts of money for doing absolutely zilch.
