Very much this. Not only do we need to add more quality to the team/squad, we need more bodies for depth in the worst-case scenario as above. We’re down a player in Gordon already, so if nothing comes through the door it’s, frankly, disgraceful and beyond negligent. Just waving the white flag.

If Ayew happens then what does this tell us all, only that the management of the club have learned nothing, we did exactly the same last season with Rondon and we all know what kind of a signing that was . I would go for buying Gyokeres/Brereton Diaz.

Then put in loans for Ziyech and Moura or similar. That way the liabilities next season, relegated or not are reduced.

Tall Paul and Rennes backup winger said no to us. What makes you think ziyech and Moura would even for a second consider coming to Everton right now
