Beyond incompetent not having anyone through the door by now, regardless of the Danjuma debacle.

Did they not know Sulemana or Becker existed until today? Or within the last few days? If they’ve only identified them recently then it’s clear they’ve not done sufficient scouting/due diligence and we shouldn’t be spending money on them. If they did know about them, why wait until the last possible moment to try and sign them when all the teams around us are strengthening? All questions that should be posed to the club but are sadly too long to put on a bedsheet.

Reckon the Rennes lad decides against us, Union Berlin turn us down for leaving it too late, and we end up with free transfer Andre Ayew as our only signing. Championship here we come.

Last year we were in the exact same situation and still got Dele on DvB in. They were both a bit crap to put it mildly but on paper at least they solved problems. That's the kind of thing we can hope for today i guess and still call the past week a relative success. Fingers crossed and fume gas masks donned
