So, just to clarify, it';s good nes that the club are losing cash hand over fist? A show of strength?

It’s not good news or bad news. It’s the cost of strengthening the club in this market.

The papers saying that we’ve only just realised we’re announcing losses is laughable. They would’ve known this was coming for over a year.

Not ideal but its better than being a Newcastle fan and having the club post record profits every year whilst they spend sweet all most seasons so long as Ashley claws in the TV money.

It was always on the cards mate - growing pains whilst the club attempts to transition from mid table to the top 6. Long way to go and the stadium / potential sponsorship deals from Usmanov will be pivotal in terms of revenue long term but im just going to enjoy the ride and hope Ancelotti can attract that next level of player.

An absolute Turkish warlord of a defender. He's my fave type of defender: beast. Starts for Turkey I think too with that Leicester guy. However, if the pro-military stuff Tosun did annoys you he's in the same camp.

Dias has looked good whenever I've watched him. Not really noticed Ferro alongside him, though!

Demiral looks like Vidic to me...but his passing isnt great. I reckon he'll go to Leicester @Nymzee to partner with Soyonku (sp!)

He's very highly rated, not sure on the international cap but they did keep playing Pepe and Jose Fonte forever so maybe the manager just favours others. Err not sure really, I guess Ruben Dias has more experience in CL etc. and is better on the ball but I do enjoy the personality of Turkish defenders. They've got a huge batch of talented centre-halves coming through. They'd both be super expensive mind.

I think personally we need a defence first centre-half which would be Dias/Demiral more than Ferro who plays almost quarter back for Benfica. (Benfica's entire back 5 I'd bring here if we had the cash).
