I see talk of Forren has started again.
Do we need a striker or are Big Vic and Jelavic good enough to see us through, I am starting to think that they are good enough.
I think the biggest question is whether we will play them both together, and need someone to back them up beside Vellios.
When healthy, we have this (without including players twice):
GK
Howard, Mucha
LB
Baines, Oviedo
CB
Distin, Jags, Heitinga, Duffy
RB
Coleman, Hibbert, Neville
RM
Osman, Naismith
RCM
Gibson, Hitzlsperger
LCM
Pienaar
LM
Mirallas, Gueye
CAM
Fellaini
ST
Jelavic, Anichebe, Vellios
Seems thin at all the midfield, unless you play a striker back at CAM, then it's thin at ST.
I'd rather sign a first choice keeper than a back up one.
I don't think we need an awful lot. Someone who can turn draws into wins would be ideal, but we'll be very lucky to find them at this stage of the season on loan or free. Moyes might be thinking along the lines of Anelka, Henry or even Cahill. We could probably do with a bit of cover in defensive midfield as well if Gibson is likely to be suffering from a recurrent injury and Neville is required at right back. Maybe Ofoe could be back on again?
1) It's "Vadis", stop calling him Ofoe
2) He can't turn draws into wins in Belgium, how do you expect him to do that in England? Mightely ineffective when coming off the bench.
1) Vadis Ofoe-Odjidja would mean his first name is "Vadis", right?
2) I don't expect him to do that. I expect the "game-changer" from the first part of the paragraph to do that.
