Barton was talking about players playing for United (Jones, Evans, Rafael and Smalling) who were not world class, he said to Neville "You made a career out of not being world class". He was quite interesting, also commenting that if Moyes was still manager on United he would be hounded for the level of performance and that Van Gaal is being given undue time and credit.

So did Neville say "At least I didn't make a career out of being a thug". Barton really is a lippy [Poor language removed] who was hardly a top player. I have to say though I do enjoy watching him.
