Maloney was quite boss his last season in the prem. Actually if you think about it now that Robles has turned out to be a somewhat functional No.2 guy our Wigan contingent is the least of our problems.

Tbf to martinez his Wigan signings are not that bad and I can see the logic in them all tbh.
McCarthy is boss, a great signing and it has proved a great bit of business.
Robles, brought in as a No.2 for very little money. Was available and had to act quick. No.2's are very hard to find. I don't see him as a quality No.1 tho.
Kone, a different striker to what we had and probably in RM mind, a player who new the way he wanted to play. You can't count for such a injury that would render him useless for 12 months.
Alcaraz, again I can see the logic. A ball playing CB who new his methods. His worst signing by a mile. Already new his injury record. Would have forgave him that one, if he'd let him go in the summer. Keeping him makes me question RM judgement.

Nothing of note rarely happens until the last few days. It's the same every year, don't know why people expect anything different. Unless your man city who over pay regardless.
I'm sure we'll see at least 1 in before it shuts. But with Etoo going we could see up to 3 in imo.
Think we'll replace Etoo with a winger. A GK is also probable and if a bargain becomes available a striker wouldn't be out of the question.

I bet fans and other managers thought that about Bojan, hence why he was swerved and ended up at Stoke, but he's come up trumps.

If you can get him for a decent price, definitely! He's a talented player that as seriously lost his way but the right move could do him good.
And Bojan went to Stoke for over million mate, not 6. Now that does look a proper bargain right now!

Bojan you could understand given how he performed everywhere he was loaned. The big screwup was not getting Gil especially given he went to Villa for 3.2m.
