£2m?!?! Can't be right that surely. He had a £12m release clause, I know his deal is running out but I bet they'd want around £5m for him I reckon.

I'd love us to be seriously interested in him, I think he's a decent player.

As anyone seen the Guardian article with quotes from Martinez about Mirallas? Basically he says we have to show Mirallas our ambitions, starting with going on a run from now until the end of the season, but I also think he means with our recruitment come the summer to show we are serious about going for the CL so hopefully, he's got some great ideas up his sleeve when it comes to recruitment in the summer!

The worry is that Mirallas has 7 assists feeding Lukaku in 14/15. If Mirallas is injured (or worse, off to another club), few others seem competent enough to supply Lukaku.

You are probably correct with that - the issue is that we have an expectation of him to perform more like a £10 - 15 Million player once he pulls on that hallowed shirt!

I don't know the breakdown of those deals though, but for the same commitment of funds we could of have Remy and Wellbeck, in theory.
