For wages from the club, almost certainly. But the top players will also have separate Ltd Companies for income from image rights, sponsorship, books and stuff.

As for Kaboul himself, he's in the 'alright' category isn't he? Seems to have been frozen out at Tottenham so would probably be available for quite cheap. Can play centre back, right back or defensive mid so it would make sense I guess.
 
The only reason Seamus is 5/6 on for United is because some wealthy tool put on a four figure bet on him which resulted in a drop in price and newspapers building on it. Nothing in it. Would of thought we have some money available probably around 10 mill which will go on loans and a GK.

I would of thought the money we lay out for a keeper will be matched or get more from the MLS for howard in the next 18 months

No. He's in the "I'd rather chew my own feet off than see him at Everton" category.

no doubt you've read that he can play right back and defensive mid on wiki, but let's be honest, he can barely play at centre back. He's exactly the kind of player and character that belongs with Harry Redknapp.

I do think its just a rumour but for the reason you say, i would be williing to give him a chance, i try not to write off any player before seeing him on a consistent basis.

Haha. Well I do believe he played in all three of those positions a few times when he played for Pompey, although that was a few years ago.

I think he's just 'okay', and that's not what we need really. Should only be looking to bring players in who are really going to improve us. We need an absolute stalwart at the back.
