Can you just imagine if Coleman and McCarthy both left in the January window? Jesus wept. I can live with Coleman leaving for £25 million minimum but McCarthy...please no. We need rid of Gibson, Distin, Osman and Pienaar and use whatever money we make from that to spend on quality bargains.

The problem is the players we want out, your Gibson's and Distin's, nobody in their right mind will want them.

Whereas plenty will want the likes of Coleman and McCarthy.

Bit of a crappy situation really.

I could live with Mirallas going for 15-20mil due tonhis contract situation.

I couldalso live with coleman off for 25-30mil.

But not mccarthy or any of the younger crop. Martinez needs to add to them.
 
He NEEDS to get a winger in. No ifs or buts, it needs to happen. Naismith/Barkley out wide doesnt work, and will never work. So we NEED one.
 
It's what happens when you slide down the table.

Sadly we have more fans bothered about making excuses for martinez than worrying that the team that's taken years to build on a limited budget could be dismantled
 
Chantome would be a good signing, shame he is cup-tied for Europe.

As a central midfielder, you would hope that he would be bought in order to replace Barry!
