Think we have to stop gambling on our defence staying solid for 90 minutes while we create nothing up front.

If it's not a dodgy penalty it's a wonder goal from range or set piece that does us in. Attackers need to step up massively.

If your arm is tucked in and you can't get out of the way then yes.

But he took two sidesteps towards an already moving ball to put his (tucked in) arm in the way.

Unnatural arm position is the keyword I’ve heard to make such judgement.

Throwing his body with tuck arms to block the shots that hits within a second is not a clear and obvious penalty.

He's a decent old fashioned blocker, but him, especially with Tugboat alongside, is so lethargic with the ball at his feet, then it's a thump forward and hope someone can reach it.
