He's so solid most of the time but does have these mistakes in his locker. The reason why he finds himself playing with us and not a team higher up the league.

End of the day the mistake hasn't cost us, and he put in another 8/10 game so he needn't be worried and nor should we.

I seem to remember a similar goal last season where he was expecting pickford to come out and didn't. Maybe same here...

But excellent other than that. We've been crying out for a centre half who will stick his head in where it hurts too and he did that.

Shame he let himself down for the goal but other than that I thought he was outstanding and lead by example.

Yes he’s been brilliant which makes it even more annoying such an experienced player does that. Luckily it wasn’t costly in the end.

Exactly the point ive made in this thread a few times.
Every single defender makes errors. Where as those further up the pitch never seemd to bail out our defenders. Yest they did and took the spotlight off.

Branthwaite and tarkowski have credit in the bank this season.
