If he’s not fit or unwilling to put in the effort for the team then I’d back Benitez’s decision not to play him. We can’t carry players who can’t or won’t work off the ball (not saying this is James but as a general principle)

Regardless of what happens with him I’ll forever love him for piping down those Norwegian biffs for a while with that through ball.

I reckon 100% of the fanbase would get behind this, if true. Sadly, it doesn't appear to be the case though.
