hes done well in patches but hes so easy to play against,
jj shelvey and jeff hendrick just booted him off the pitch and then he cba!
the timing of his private jet selfie is crazy didnt he realise his team mates are going into arguably the biggest game of the season or maybe he just doesnt care, its all for his colombian followers.
i partly blame carlo,he should have told him hes staying with the squad until after the city game, whether or not he can be bothered playing!

He’s injured so he wouldn’t have traveled to City anyway per covid rules, it makes sense to let him go early

Not being at the Wolves game to clap the fans wrangles a bit more than him being on a private jet

He's been fit to play at times this season but decided against playing.

'fatigue' 'felt a twinge warming up' 'his focus now is on Copa America' etc

As brilliant as he is when he plays, I'm not sure the manager and fans can universally condemn player attitude being a huge issue and then give our highest earner a free pass.

Fergie let Cantona do what he wanted cos he was Cantona...

When James was signed last summer, I wish the forum had a poster back then who cautioned that the club might have an arrangement with the player that he didn't play a lot of games for us.

Yeah, it's a pity we didn't have anyone here prescient enough to make that projection.

He's played 26 games for us.

Most sensible people knew he would'nt, he has never played more than about 25 games a season anywhere, if you look at his career he has spent more time out of the game than actually playing it. It's just the way he is, i can see why we signed him but he's not for me ive got to be honest, too much baggage.

I don’t think many fans disliked Rooney as a footballer, because he was top notch on the field for Everton , first time round, and Man. Unt, after that his legs had gone, same as James after that World Cup when he came into prominence, I think he likes the good life more than football, and football has paid for that good life in the many years since that World Cup.I hope he doesn’t come back here, he’s taking the pxss out of the club and many fans, but some fans don’t mind him taking the pxss out them it seems.

I think there's a difference with a club at our level, the talent it can bring, and then tolerance.

We ain't getting another player of James calibre. When he's played, he's more than not delivered the quality we need.

It's the squad full of players that aren't even at a level that's required to compete never mind his level that's the issue.

Personally...we can tolerate that 1 player of James calibre. Yes it's frustrating. Yes it looks like is taking the mick. But if you look at most of the top teams in Europe...they all have more than one of these.

I don't know but I only think the match squad were there to clap the fans. No excuse as he couldve been in the stands...but I don't know the protocol with how many players are allowed to stay around especially with fans back.

Could be wrong.
