James Milner

I see him as a younger version of Gareth Barry - with a bit more pace and flair. works hard, does the simple things well and can spot a pass and execute it.

For £5m, at 22 or 23, whats evetr he is, i would snap their hands off. :)

Why stop there ? Seeing as they're geordies, kick them in the bollocks too .

An interesting fact (well slightly interesting anyway).

Wayne Rooney was the youngest every goal scorer in the premier league.

James Milner beat his record whilst at Leeds.

James Vaughan beat Milner's record a few seasons back.

If we signed Milner the 3 youngest scorers in Premiership history will have all played for the blues, with 2 playing in the same team (providing Vaughan can stay fit)

As for Milner i rate him quite highly... I live in Newcastle and know that Geordies rate him highly... i'd defo take him. Young, Hardworking, English, has an excellent cross and is versatile. All sounds good to me!

On a side note though he's a right ugly [Poor language removed]!!! :D

If the price is reasonable, that is great to have him. He is young,& talented?. But I just wonder about his passing and crossing abilties only. :dodgy:

I know where your coming from on the midfield numbers Danny, but the more i think about it, the more i feel we will see a big progression in our midfield. I think next season we may see Rodwell and Gosling coming more in to the equation, and if we sign Johnson his all round box to box game isnt half bad, i know hes renowned for his attacking play but he really is full of running and his tenacity isnt half bad. Could be a good young midfield with alot of promise. Personally before Milner i wouldnt mind us having a crack at

Lennon
Downing
