if we can manage to get him fit for a few weeks it'll be the opportunity to finally cash in. hopefully we strike it lucky and hes in working order come january.

I honestly think he has a lot to offer in this system IF he can stay fit. I admit that looks unlikely, though.

For example, given how Klaassen has struggled and Davies (due to age) is still very hit-and-miss, I think he'd be ideal as the third player in central midfield when we're at home/against sides we should control the game.

Schneiderlin will stay IMO and will come good again, but he's at his best in an anchor role and against lesser sides we don't need two holding players.

McCarthy - like Davies - has that energy to get around the pitch but has that added experience and nous.

That being said, it's all null and void if he can't stay fit. Cheers 'Roberto, you bad ted.
