His Grandparents were Irish and so he said that he would rather play for Ireland seen as he qualified due to an Irish rule.

Get over it!! You seem bitter that he rejected the nation of birth. Its called dual nationality he chose the second country.

I agree he's Scottish and i agree they should get rid of the Granny rule.

As an Irishman it annoys me when we use that rule to take British players to play for Ireland

But it is a rule so currently hes allowed to choose and he chose to be Irish.
