Sorry mate, I disagree. He's been treading water for 18 months or so which means we wouldn't get much more than we paid for him if we sold him.

Given transfer inflation that wouldn't be good business. If he goes out on loan and impresses, then he either comes back or gets sold for probably at least 5 million more than we'd get for him now. There's a risk that he might not impress elsewhere, but I think a loan out is a sound business decision.
